  Design, develop and maintain our production web applications, databases, and custom workflows within an AWS platform

• Build and enhance our proprietary applications for the transportation safety industry by implementing database scripts, back-end application code, and front-end web and mobile application changes.

• Ensure system documentation is maintained.

• Ensure that technical designs and decisions are taken with an appropriate balance of time-to-market versus meeting longer-term organization needs.

• Ensure smooth processing of production-related jobs, providing occasional off-hours support.

• Motivated initiative-taker with a commitment to providing creative and robust software solutions.

• 
  Degree(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing web applications, custom ETL processes, and proprietary data solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Python web development

• Strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience

• Proficiency with JSON and XML data structures

• Expertise in SQL, relational database concepts, and SQL scripting

• Strong software development skills with OOP languages

• Proficient in software architecture and data model design

• Ability to work closely with business teams to ensure technology solutions align

• Demonstrated experience in AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Container Services, Route 53, SES, Step functions, RDS)
